Captions read "Partial view of 2nd Day Bombing Group, Ourches, France, Nov 5, 1918 - August 10, 1919" and "The 2nd Day Bombing Group consisting of the 100th, 163rd, and 73rd Squadrons, and the 9th and 16th Photo Sections came into action Nov 5, 1918 as the only bombing dropping outfit on the Metz sector. The group remained at Ourches until the disbandonment (sic) of the 2nd Army, Apr. 15, 1919, when some of the units were ordered home and the 9th & 16th Sections to Germany." (Ourches-sur-Meuse)
